Joy Bringers, through its character training School specially designed rehabilitation programs, inculcates ethical values and personality re-characterization that help offenders manage life challenges better. The School runs an intensive three months training program that equips inmates with leadership and life-changing skills, processing them into valuable assets to themselves, their families, their communities and the society at large.
The course content includes Character Building, Conscience Management, Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Family Life, Purpose Driven Life, Stewardship, Entrepreneurship, Mental Health, Access to Justice, Readers are Leaders, Mission, Vision and Values, New Beginning, Total Man and so on. Our curriculum is aimed at infusing values in the inmates and in achieving the three-fold objective of mental and moral rehabilitation, reformation, and reintegration.

Facilitate the reintegration of ex-offenders as well as reduce the rate of recidivism among ex-offenders in Nigeria Prisons.

Built in 1955 for 800 inmates, has a population of over 3,113 inmates
Its official capacity is 956 but it actually has over 1,645 inmates
Built in 1963 with initial capacity of 211, but has a population of over 318.
Built in 1958 with 1,700 initial capacity, but has over 3,833 inmates.
The Foundation currently operates in the four prisons in Lagos, Ikoyi, Maximum, Medium, and Female prisons.
