Mr. David Ifezulike gained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester in 1974 and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London in 1979. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Management Science. He joined Nestle’ in 1980 and worked for over 26 years in various capacities and locations including Nigeria, Malaysia, Zimbabwe, Switzerland and Ghana. He retired from Nestlé Nigeria Plc as the Executive Director, Industrial Development in October 2006. He was thereafter appointed to the Board of Directors of Nestlé Nigeria Plc and later served as its Chairman from 10 May 2013. He retired as Chairman of the Company in 2023.
Mr. Ifezulike is very passionate about the welfare and reformation of inmates in Correctional Facilities in Nigeria. He sits as the Board Chairman of the Joy Bringers Foundation Care Initiative.
 
															 
															Dr. Emmanuel Oluwaniyi holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, a M.Sc. in Governance & Finance from Liverpool John Moore’s University UK, a PGD in Cross Sector Partnership from Cambridge University Program for Industry, and a PhD. in Human Services from Walden University. He is a member of several accountancy and human services professional bodies. He is also trained in positive psychology, partnering, PFA, & disaster response.
Dr. Oluwaniyi boasts of cross-sector work experiences in areas such as accounting, social investment/performance, and crisis management. A major part of his work life was with Shell Oil & Gas, where he spent 24 years on diverse assignments up to senior management levels. Since Dec 2014, he has dedicated his time to giving more supports towards reducing recidivism amongst formerly incarcerated individuals. He joined Joy Bringers Foundation in 2017 and serves as its Director of Operations, providing character-building support for inmates/wards both at the senior and juvenile correctional centers. He is a Senior Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Dr. Oluwaniyi is a member of the Board and also serves as a member of the Fundraising Committee.
Ms. Joy Egbute is a certified public accountant in the United States of America and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Ms. Egbute once served as an Operations Staff for Union Bank of Nigeria Plc.
She currently works for the City of Fort Worth, Texas.
Ms. Egbute is passionate about improving the life of the less privilege in the Nigerian society, especially as at pertains to the prison community. She is a member of the Board and also part of the Fundraising Committee.
 
															 
															Dr. Jude Ememe is a philanthropist and has been actively involved in the rehabilitation and reformation of prison inmates in Nigerian prisons.
He holds a Ph.D. from Walden University, USA. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, and the Humphrey Fellow Program, Boston University, USA. He has been the Director of Joy Bringers Foundation since its establishment in 2012. Dr. Ememe serves as a member of the Board of the Care Initiative.
Mrs. Uwa Osa-Oboh is the Head, Corporate Development at Capital Alliance Nigeria, a member of the African Capital Alliance (ACA) group, an Investment Management firm with investments across Africa. She joined the firm in 2013 and facilitates its strategy definition and implementation; human resources development and external relations, along with executive responsibility for the ACA Foundation.
At various times in her career, she has worked as a lawyer, banker and management consultant. In the latter phase, she served as the CEO of ReStraL for eight years up until 2012. ReStraL is a research, strategy and leadership-development consulting firm. While at ReStraL, she worked and consulted for various corporations and government agencies.
Uwa Osa-Oboh sits on various boards including the boards of the Africa Venture Philanthropy Alliance (AVPA); the Impact Investors Foundation of Nigeria (IIF); and the African Leadership Initiative – West Africa (ALI-WA). She is also a fellow of ALI-WA, an offshoot of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN), a fellowship affiliated with Aspen Leadership Centre of the USA.
She is personally committed to principles of enduring individual and organisational effectiveness, and how to transform the larger society through their transmission.
 
															 
															Mr. Ben Ikeakor studied economics at the Fourah Bay University, Freetown, Sierra-Leone, graduating as the best graduating student in 1976. He had a meritorious stay as a Banker in the then Co-operative and Commerce Bank Plc, before stepping into private business since 1984. Mr. Ikeakor has pioneered so many businesses in the imports, logistics, leisure and real estate sectors. He has also positively impacted public policies in Nigeria for decades.
Mr. Ikeakor is a Director of Joy Bringers Foundation, and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Joy Bringers Foundation Care Initiative.
Tochukwu Itumo is a legal practitioner having obtained his law degree from Ebonyi State University and a Masters’ Degree from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Mr. Itumo is a Senior Associate at Oyewole & Adesina. He has been in private legal practice for over 10 years with cognate experience in Corporate/Commercial law practice, Company Secretarial services, Debt Recovery, Probate and Estate matters, and the capital markets. Mr. Itumo is an active member of esteemed professional organizations, including the Nigerian Bar Association, the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria and the Capital Market Solicitors of Nigeria.
He joined the Joy Bringers Foundation in 2016 and has provided legal support to the Foundation and its activities. He is passionate about the legal means of alleviating the plight of prison inmates in Nigeria. Mr. Itumo serves as the General Secretary of the JBF Care Initiative, providing secretarial services to the Board and its Committees.
 
															 
															Mr. Femi Aka is a dedicated individual with a diverse professional background. He holds an ND from the Federal School of Fisheries and Marine Technology (now School of Oceanography and Marine Research).
Mr. Aka has a strong commitment to community service, having been actively involved in prison ministry for over 20 years alongside his senior pastor, Agbolade Matuluko, under the auspices of RCCG. This ministry has successfully assisted in the release of 27 inmates. He joined the Joy Bringers as a Board Member in 2024.
His professional experience encompasses various sectors. He served as General Manager at Precision Couriers and has managed projects for notable organizations such as Thecla Nigeria (an engineering company) and Quo Design and Build. He also spearheaded the construction of facilities for Optimal Greening Nigeria, an NGO focused on environmental and sustainable energy.
Currently, Mr. Aka is engaged in contract work, building, real estate, and property management
